EXCHANGE POLICY
- Making a purchase indicates that you have acknowledged, understood, and agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions.
- We are committed to making your shopping experience as fuss-free and enjoyable as possible! Please read through the following terms & conditions prior to making a purchase.
- All sale, discounted, coupon, and gift voucher purchases are non-returnable and non-refundable, though size exchange is always possible. For size exchanges, get in touch with us on WhatsApp at 9896262874.
- If you have received a damaged or wrong product, please WhatsApp us immediately.
- Some items are Made to Order and are not eligible for returns. The return and exchange policy for such products is clearly mentioned on the product page. International orders can avail size exchange with an additional courier charge as per actual. For further details, please contact us.
CANCELLATIONS AND EXCHANGES
What is the Exchange policy on Raison D’etre Atelier?
As a company policy, we do not provide refunds or returns on any product once sold. Once Raison D’etre Atelier pieces are sold, they can be exchanged for a replacement in a bigger or smaller size (provided the aforementioned terms and conditions are met).
We do issue a credit note for our customers only when the desired size of the product is not in stock.
If the product is eligible for a size exchange, you may WhatsApp our customer care number or write to us at ‘info@raisondetreatelier.com’ strictly within 48 hours of delivery to request an exchange.
Please do not forget to take an acknowledgment receipt from the courier person about the number of products you are dispatching with their signature and mobile number. Raison D’etre Atelier will not be responsible for any lost shipments.
We allow only one size exchange per order, and items once sold are not taken back.
The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable. We recommend returning items through traceable mail (we do not have reverse pickup facilities), as any returned items not received by Raison D’etre Atelier will be treated as not returned.

Address for the Exchange:
- Purchases made during SALE are not eligible for any kind of return or exchange.
- For exchanges, please inform us within 48 hours of the product being delivered to you.
- Only products that are unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with all labels and tags intact, and in original packaging are eligible for exchange.
- Please mention your name, address, number, email, and order ID on the parcel along with the size needed.
- Size exchange is available (the customer is eligible to get a bigger or smaller size in case of a size exchange).
Store credit equal to the amount of the exchanged product minus the shipping/COD cost (to & fro) with a validity of 20 days from the date of receipt of store credit will be provided.
The cost of shipping to & fro (reverse pickup as well as shipping charges) for the product is to be borne by you.
Can I cancel my order?
- You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing the order. Please call us at 9896262874 or write to us to request a cancellation. You will not be able to cancel the order yourself on the website.
- We appreciate it if you inform us as soon as possible if you do not want an order so that we do not dispatch the order, saving courier costs and effort.
- Cancellations of Cash on Delivery orders must be done strictly within 24 hours of placing the order. Please reach out to us at 9896262874 with your order number.
- In prepaid orders, a credit note will be provided. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by Raison D’etre Atelier and accepts Raison D’etre Atelier’s decision regarding the cancellation.
How will I receive credit for my money if the desired size of the exchange product is not available?
The credit note will be emailed to you, which you can use within the next 90 days on the Raison D’etre Atelier website. Please make sure to use the credit in one go.
Can I exchange part of my order?
Yes, you can exchange any products that are eligible for exchange within 48 hours of delivery. Please note that some items are not returnable or exchangeable.
My garment does not fit me. What can I do?
If the product does not fit and you would like a new size, please request a size exchange with the customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the product. Our team will try its best to help you with any size exchanges or alterations, subject to availability. If the size you have requested is not available, we will offer you the option to get a credit note to buy something else.
Why was my exchange not accepted?
We strive to ensure that every transaction on our website is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards.
Exchange/Return will not be accepted if:
- The customer does not like the material or color of the dress. We suggest that the customer read the product description and view all pictures before ordering. You can also contact us for more details about the product if needed.
- A 10-12% color difference is expected due to screen resolution and lighting. Please do not expect an exchange or return for the same.
- The product has been washed or worn.
- The purchase was made during a sale, using a coupon, or a gift voucher. These are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.
- The item is an accessory.
Customers may have to send the product to our warehouse themselves if pickup is unavailable in their area or for urgent orders. The address is:
